Payments — Accept Credit Card Payments with Stripe

Introduction

Accept payments directly through your Answe widgets using Stripe. When customers place orders or complete bookings, they can pay with a credit card right in the widget. Payments go directly to your Stripe account.

How It Works

Setting Up Payments

1. Go to your Account settings
2. Connect your Stripe account (or create one)
3. Complete Stripe's verification process
4. Payments are now enabled for your widgets

The Payment Flow

1. Customer adds items to cart or books a service
2. At checkout, the order total is calculated (including tax and delivery)
3. Customer enters payment details
4. Payment is processed securely through Stripe
5. Confirmation shown in the widget and sent via email

Viewing Payments

All orders with payment details appear in your Chat Inbox. You can also view orders from the Orders section of your dashboard.
