Chat Inbox — Manage Conversations with Your Visitors
Introduction
Every time a visitor interacts with your Answe widget — submitting a form, placing an order, making a booking, or sending a message — it appears in your Chat Inbox. This is your central hub for managing all visitor interactions across all your widgets.
How It Works
Viewing Conversations
- Go to Chats from your dashboard
- See all conversations listed with the most recent at the top
- Each conversation shows:
- Visitor name or identifier
- Last message preview
- Timestamp
- Which question/widget they interacted with
Responding to Messages
Click any conversation to open it. You can:
- Read the full conversation thread
- See form submissions and their data
- View order details
- Reply to the visitor
Filtering and Search
- Filter by question/widget
- Filter by date range
- Search across all conversations
Notifications
Get notified when new messages arrive:
- Push notifications on your mobile device
- In-app notification badges
